The Ice Magic Lucerne transforms the Europaplatz at the KKL into a fairytale ice rink. Glide across the 500m2 artificial ice rink with a view of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains. After skating, warm up with a hot drink in the chalet bar.
The ice magic begins on November 13, 2024 and lasts until January 2, 2025. The ice rink is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m.
Discover the beauty of Lucerne and learn more about its history on a 90-minute city tour. Your guide will take you to the most important sights such as the Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church and the Lion Monument. From November to March, the guided tours take place daily at 1.45 pm. The meeting point is the Tourist Information at Lucerne railroad station.

The Rudolfs Christmas market on the Inseli-Quai behind the KKL enchants with its unique location on the lake and the lovingly designed area. Rudolf's Christmas takes place from November 16 to December 23, 2024. Admission is free.
The Christmas market on Franziskanerplatz impresses with its intimate, traditional character. In the middle of the old town, you will find a selection of local products and Christmas classics. The contemplative atmosphere invites you to stroll and enjoy. For culinary refreshments in between, we recommend our partner restaurant Schlüssel, which is located directly on Franziskanerplatz.
The "Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt" will take place from December 5 to 22, 2024. Admission is free.
