This legendary restaurant offers more than just cheese specialties - every evening from April to October, the Stadtkeller offers a complete package of traditional Swiss cuisine and folklore entertainment ("Swiss Folklore Show"). From November to March, you can dine here from Tuesday to Saturday, and the kitchen is open from 11.30 am to 9.30 pm. The menu includes cheese fondue made to the restaurant's own recipe, raclette and fondue bourguignonne such as fondue chinoise.

Zunfthausrestaurant Pfistern: all year round

You can enjoy Swiss cheese specialties all year round in the historic ambience of the Zunfthausrestaurant Pfistern. In addition, the terrace under the Egg will be transformed into a magical winter forest from November 1, 2024 to January 19, 2025. More than 100 different cheese fondue variations await you here, while cosy blankets and warmed "Chriesistei-Säckli" bags create a cosy atmosphere. The restaurant will also be operating a fondue carriage (from 2 people) from October 15, 2024 to January 5, 2025.

Fondue House Du Pont: all year round

The name says it all! Various cheese fondue variations await you and you can also try raclette at Fondue House. But would you prefer a version with bouillon? No problem: there is fondue bourguignonne and also fondue chinoise (also a vegan option). The restaurant is located on the Reuss, so you not only enjoy cheese, but with a bit of luck also a view of the Jesuit Church, the Kappell Bridge and the water tower.

Fondue and raclette boat: 25.10.24 to 28.03.25

From October 25, 2024 to March 28, 2025, you can experience Swiss cheese culture on Lake Lucerne! Enjoy a three-course menu for 2.5 hours, with a choice of fondue or raclette for the main course, while the MS Diamant or MS Waldstätter glides across the lake. The cheese comes from the Urnerboden Alpine cheese dairy and tastes particularly aromatic. The fondue and raclette boat sails on Fridays from October 25, 2024 to March 28, 2025. It departs from Bahnhofquai at 19:12 and returns at 21:47. Be sure to book!

Wilhelm Tell ship restaurant: 18.09.24 to 27.04.25

The (moored) Wilhelm Tell boat restaurant offers you a unique atmosphere with breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne and the mountains of Central Switzerland. From September 18, 2024 to April 27, 2025, the restaurant will be transformed into a veritable fondue paradise. During this period, you can choose from 20 different varieties of cheese from the Lucerne cheese store Barmettler, from classic fondue recipes to vegan options, starting at 5.30 pm.
