Public transportation and tickets

Public transportation in Switzerland is considered very reliable—almost as precise as a Swiss watch. For travel planning and ticket purchases, we recommend the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) app. It is user-friendly and covers almost all public transportation options.

Of course, you can also buy your ticket directly from the ticket machine if you prefer. The SBB app or website also offers you clear timetable information with all the necessary connections.

Swiss tap water

The water from our taps is of excellent quality and can be used as drinking water without hesitation.

Exchange your currency

You can use the following banks in Lucerne for your currency exchange: UBS, Raiffeisen Bank and Luzerner Kantonalbank.
